Waseem Badami Regrets Pakistani Artists Who Felt Sorry for Pulwama Incident

TV host Waseem Badami has expressed his disappointment with some Pakistani artists who showed regret over the Pulwama incident. Speaking on the ARY Podcast, he said he feels sad and sorry about their reactions.

He explained that Islam teaches us to condemn the killing of innocent people, and as Muslims, we always mourn every death in India. However, he pointed out that the situation in Pulwama on April 22 was different. He said that the incident was blamed on Pakistan, but Pakistan responded by saying it was a false flag operation, meaning India staged it itself. So, simply expressing sorrow over the incident was incomplete without addressing the bigger issue.

Badami said that some artists who expressed grief also wrote that the accusations against Pakistan were false and that we should not blame Pakistan before an investigation. If they had shown genuine emotions, they could have also asked India questions and condemned the false accusations. But some didn’t do that, and he feels disappointed about it.

Pakistani Celebrities Condemn Indian Actors for Celebrating Attacks on Pakistan

He clarified that he is not calling anyone a traitor or unpatriotic, but he wanted to say that those artists should also emphasize that the allegations against Pakistan are baseless. Some artists expressed sympathy, but they did not question India directly, which upset him.

According to Badami, Pakistani artists owe their respect and fame to their country. When hard times come, they should speak up. But some artists didn’t do that, and he finds it upsetting.

He shared an incident where he learned that an Indian artist told a Pakistani actor to condemn the Pulwama attack. The Pakistani actor responded by asking that Indian artist to first declare officially that Pakistan was not involved.

He also praised several Pakistani actors like Fahad Mustafa, Imran Ashraf, Hameed Saeed, Behroze Sabzwari, Javed Sheikh, Amr Khan, and Shehroz Sabzwari for their patriotism.

Summary: Waseem Badami criticizes some Pakistani celebrities for not fully supporting their country after the Pulwama incident. He emphasizes that expressing sorrow is good, but questioning false accusations and standing firm on national sovereignty is more important. He respects those who remain patriotic and highlights the importance of speaking up in difficult times.
