Imran Khan Agrees to Negotiations to Save the Country

Lahore (ANI) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Azam Khan Swati has stated that the only solution to save the country from destruction is through negotiations. Speaking to the media outside the Anti-Terrorism Court in Lahore, Swati emphasized the importance of dialogue, saying, “If we want to save the country from devastation, negotiations are the only way forward.” He added that they have managed to convince the founder of PTI, Imran Khan, to agree to these negotiations, highlighting their concern for the nation.

Swati also mentioned the current political landscape, noting, “There is no leader in Pakistan at this moment who can steer the country in a better direction.” When asked by a journalist if there had been any positive developments, he responded, “God willing. This country belongs to everyone.”

In a related development, the Anti-Terrorism Court has extended Azam Khan Swati’s interim bail until May 13 in five cases pertaining to the attack and arson at Jinnah House on May 9. The hearing was conducted by the court’s administrative judge, Manzoor Ali Gill. The police did not present the records of the cases during the session, stating that the documents are currently with the Supreme Court, where the bail applications for the accused are still pending. The court had previously requested arguments from the lawyers regarding the interim bails.
