Pakistani-American actress Sumaiya Hassan has shared that she became a big fan of Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan after watching The Legend of Maula Jatt in a cinema in the United States. She said the powerful performances of both actors left a strong impression on her and made her admire Pakistani cinema even more.
While speaking in an interview, Sumaiya Hassan said that she watched the film in an American theater and was amazed by the quality of acting, direction, and storytelling. She praised Fawad Khan for his strong screen presence and appreciated Mahira Khan for her graceful and impactful performance.
Sumaiya also revealed that well-known director Nadeem Baig is her mentor. She has come to Pakistan to work on one of his new projects. In this project, she will be seen alongside famous stars Kubra Khan and Shuja Haider, who are playing important roles.

She also shared that she once met Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan in the US. In addition, she has enjoyed concerts by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Atif Aslam, Strings, and Jal Band.
Sumaiya said she loves traveling and has visited many countries around the world. However, she believes that Pakistan holds a special place in her heart.
