The drama, which aired in 1983, gained immense popularity among viewers and became one of the most memorable productions in PTV’s history.
A video of the actress has recently gone viral on social media, in which she is seen tearfully sharing her struggles and requesting government support. In the emotional clip, Abida Baig introduced herself and recalled her long service to the entertainment industry, stating that she dedicated 35 years of her life to the arts. She also mentioned that her late husband, Mirza Rashid Akhtar, devoted around 40 years to the same field.
