Ushna Shah Expresses Condolences on Charlie Kirk’s Death

Actress and TV host Ushna Shah has expressed her condolences over the tragic death of Charlie Kirk, the 31-year-old co-founder and CEO of conservative youth organization Turning Point USA and a close ally of former U.S. President Donald Trump.

Kirk was killed in a shocking shooting incident while addressing students at Utah Valley University. He was married and the father of two young children.

Taking to Instagram, Ushna Shah shared that although she strongly disagreed with most of Kirk’s views, particularly his stance on Palestine, she was deeply saddened by his untimely and violent death. “To see a man in his early thirties, a husband and father of two, gunned down is heartbreaking,” she wrote.

She extended her prayers to Kirk’s family, especially his wife and children, now left without their father. While reaffirming that the suffering of Palestinian families and children will always remain her foremost concern, Ushna emphasized that moments like this remind us of our shared humanity. “Feeling and acknowledging the pain of others keeps compassion alive,” she noted.

Charlie Kirk was a controversial figure in American politics, known for his hardline positions on abortion, immigration, and gun rights. He often used his speeches to spark debates with audiences, making him a polarizing but influential personality.

At the time of the incident, he had been responding to a question about gun violence in America when an attacker opened fire, killing him instantly.

Turning Point USA, the organization he co-founded, is regarded as one of the largest conservative youth movements in the U.S. and played a significant role in rallying young voters for Trump in the 2020 election.

Former President Donald Trump also mourned his death, calling him a “great man and truly a legend” in a statement shared on Truth Social.
