Veteran Pakistani actress Resham has emphasized the need for comprehensive planning to restore the country’s film industry to its former glory.

Speaking in a recent interview, she said Pakistan’s film industry has immense talent and potential, but its revival requires coordinated efforts, high-quality scripts, modern filmmaking technology, and greater encouragement for emerging artists.

Resham recalled the success of Pakistani cinema in the past and expressed confidence that if stakeholders work together with a shared vision, the country’s film industry can once again achieve a prominent position in the region.
