Born in 1971 in Dhira Dost Muhammad, Rahim Yar Khan, Arshad was a disciple of Sufi poet Faiz Muhammad Dilchasb, whose companionship deeply enriched his spiritual and literary expression. While his poetry powerfully articulated the struggles of the land and its people, he remained most distinguished for his profound and heartfelt poetry in praise of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBU).
