Podcast Controversy: Claims About Hania Aamir Rs2 Million Demand Spark New Debate

A new controversy has emerged in Pakistan’s entertainment industry after claims about actress Hania Aamir demanding Rs2 million for appearing on a podcast resurfaced in public discussion. The issue first gained attention when Adnan Faisal, owner of FHM Pakistan and a podcast host, stated that the actress had asked for the payment in exchange for appearing on his show.

Adnan Faisal shared the claim during a television appearance and later repeated it during a Ramadan transmission hosted by actor Faisal Qureshi. According to Faisal, he has conducted more than 700 interviews and has never paid guests for appearing on his podcast. He said that if he had not paid other well-known personalities, he would not agree to pay such a fee for any guest.

However, the matter took a different turn when actor and digital content creator Meraj Haq responded publicly. He accused Adnan Faisal of hypocrisy and claimed that Faisal’s team had once invited him to appear on the podcast but asked him to pay Rs285,000 in return for promotion on the platform.

Meraj Haq said he refused the offer because he does not believe in paying money to appear in interviews. After his statement, several other content creators also came forward, claiming they had received similar offers.

Some social media users and influencers stated that they were asked to pay significant amounts to appear on the podcast. The discussion quickly spread online, with many people debating the ethics of such arrangements in the digital media space.

So far, Hania Aamir has not issued any official statement regarding the recent claims, and the debate continues across social media platforms.
