Popular actress and dancer Nora Fatehi has once again come under scrutiny as the National Commission for Women issued a fresh notice regarding her recent controversial song. The actress has been directed to appear in person before the commission on April 27, 2026, after failing to attend the previous hearing held earlier this month.

According to officials, Nora Fatehi did not appear personally during the April 6 hearing and was instead represented by her legal counsel. The commission expressed dissatisfaction over her absence and has now made it clear that her personal appearance is mandatory, calling it a final opportunity to present her stance. The notice was issued under the direction of Chairperson Vijaya Rahatkar.

It emphasized that such material can negatively influence society, especially when widely consumed through media platforms. In addition, the concerned parties have reportedly committed to participating in social initiatives focused on women’s rights and empowerment over the next three months. They are expected to submit a detailed report to the commission outlining their activities.

The song, which features Nora Fatehi alongside actor Sanjay Dutt, has drawn mixed reactions.
