New Twist Emerges in Alleged Harassment Case Involving Actress Momina Iqbal

A high-profile alleged harassment case involving Pakistani actress Momina Iqbal has taken a new turn after her legal team presented claims regarding the background of the dispute, including alleged past relationships and subsequent complications.

According to the actress’s lawyers, the case involves a previous relationship between Momina Iqbal and a provincial assembly member of the Pakistan Muslim League (N). The legal team stated that the individual, identified as an MPA, was already married, which they claim became a central factor in the controversy that later unfolded.

During a media interaction following a hearing at the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency, lawyers Adnan Ehsan and Ramsha Iqbal said that the actress and the politician were in contact between 2022 and 2023. They alleged that the MPA had expressed intentions of marriage and even formally sent a proposal. However, it later emerged, according to the lawyers, that he was already married and allegedly seeking a third marriage.
