Pakistani rising actress Mamya Shajaffar has revealed a challenging phase of her life in which she suffered from a serious medical condition that required long-term treatment and significantly affected her professional career.

Speaking during a special Eid transmission on a private television channel, the actress shared details about the difficulties she faced while working on her upcoming film “Love The Sun.” She explained that the project took nearly three years to complete due to her busy schedule as well as serious health issues that slowed down her progress.

Mamya Shajaffar disclosed that during this period she became critically ill and had to undergo continuous medical treatment. She mentioned that the medication she was taking was similar to drugs used in cancer treatment, which made the experience physically and emotionally very difficult for her. The long treatment process placed a heavy burden on her daily life and professional commitments.

According to the actress, it took her almost eight months to fully recover from the illness. She also emphasized the importance of timely medical attention, saying that ignoring health issues can make conditions worse, while early treatment can lead to better recovery outcomes.
