A new development has emerged in the ongoing legal dispute involving Pakistani actress Mominah Iqbal’s family and Punjab Assembly member Saqib Chadhar. The case has now taken a new turn after Saqib Chadhar filed a fresh application in Chiniot.
According to reports, Saqib Chadhar has submitted a complaint at Bhawana police station, accusing Ramsha Iqbal, sister of actress Mominah Iqbal, of breach of trust. In his application, he claimed that Ramsha Iqbal took 8 million rupees (80 lakh) from him for arranging bank statements needed for foreign travel but did not return the money.
He further stated that bank records and supporting documents have been attached with the application as evidence. Chadhar has requested the police to take legal action against Ramsha Iqbal under relevant laws for alleged misuse of entrusted funds.
A spokesperson for the district police confirmed that the application has been received at Bhawana police station and will be reviewed according to legal procedures.
Mominah Iqbal’s Sister Announces Legal Action Against Saqib Chadhar
Earlier, Ramsha Iqbal had filed a complaint against Saqib Chadhar with the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA). She alleged that FIR proceedings had already been initiated against him and claimed that the accusations made by her side were true and supported by evidence.
She also accused Chadhar of serious threats, including claims of issuing death threats related to a marriage dispute. She stated that voice messages containing threats were sent to her and Mominah Iqbal.
The case continues to escalate with both sides now filing legal complaints against each other. Authorities are expected to investigate all claims before taking further action.
