Imad Wasim Responds After Ex-Wife Sania Ashfaq Makes Fresh Allegations on Social Media

The public dispute between Pakistani cricketer Imad Wasim and his former wife, digital content creator Sania Ashfaq, has resurfaced after Sania shared a series of new allegations about their past relationship and ongoing family matters.

In a statement posted on Instagram, Sania Ashfaq claimed that she experienced emotional pressure, controlling behavior, and inappropriate treatment during their marriage. She also alleged that Imad Wasim is no longer contributing to their children’s expenses and has shown little interest in maintaining contact with them, while at the same time seeking custody.

Sania further claimed that she was betrayed during her pregnancy and referred to the timeline of Imad Wasim’s relationship with his current wife, Naila Raja. She also alleged that the cricketer was arrested in the United Kingdom in July 2025 over domestic violence-related allegations. These claims have not been independently verified by authorities or confirmed through court findings.

According to Sania, social workers recently contacted Imad regarding communication with the children, but she alleged that no response was received. She said her priority is protecting her children and expressed hope that the full truth will eventually come to light.

Imad Wasim Ties the Knot with Naila Raja

Responding through an Instagram Story, Imad Wasim rejected the public narrative and said that his divorce was based on personal reasons. He stated that the chapter has ended and asked that his current wife and family not be dragged into the controversy.

Imad also clarified that his current wife, Naila Raja, entered his life only after the divorce and has no connection to the issues being discussed. He urged his former wife to move on from the past and stop raising the matter publicly on a daily basis.

The cricketer further warned that he would take legal action if the allegations continued and said this would be the final time he would respond publicly to the dispute.
