Google CEO Sundar Pichai wrote in a blog post, “Bard wants to integrate the richness of the world’s knowledge with the power, intelligence, and creativity of our massive language models.”

Mr. Pichai emphasized that he wanted Google’s AI services to be “brave and responsible” but did not expand on how dangerous or abusive content would be stopped from being shared by Bard.

“AI can be useful in these circumstances by synthesizing thoughts for questions with no correct answer,” he stated.

“Soon, you’ll notice AI-powered Search features that condense complex material and different perspectives into easy-to-digest formats, allowing you to rapidly grasp the broad picture and learn more from the web.”

Since the unveiling, there have been rumors that Microsoft may introduce Chat GPT to its Bing search engine.
