Faisal Qureshi Responds Positively to Nauman Ijaz’s Statement

Actor and host Faisal Qureshi has responded positively to a recent statement made by senior actor Nauman Ijaz. During a private TV Ramadan transmission, Faisal Qureshi was asked about Nauman Ijaz’s earlier comment regarding makeup.

In that interview, Nauman Ijaz had said that when a makeup artist repeatedly came to him, he told him that he was not Humayun Saeed or Faisal Qureshi who would need makeup. He also explained that he focuses more on his character and performance rather than relying heavily on makeup, adding that he simply washes his face with a wet towel before scenes.

Although Humayun Saeed and Faisal Qureshi had not initially responded, Faisal has now shared his view. He said that even if Nauman Ijaz made such a comment, there is no issue. Faisal added that he does not believe Nauman’s intention was to insult or belittle anyone. Smiling, he also praised Nauman Ijaz, saying he is naturally good-looking and may not need much makeup.

Faisal Qureshi further explained that Nauman Ijaz mostly plays character roles, while actors like him and Humayun Saeed often perform lead hero roles, which may require a different screen appearance.

He concluded by saying that incomplete statements often create unnecessary controversy and that social media sometimes exaggerates matters.
