Dr. Nabiha Father-in-Law Responds to Serious Allegations Amid Family Dispute

The ongoing dispute involving well-known psychologist and TV personality Dr. Nabiha Ali Khan has taken a new turn after her father-in-law publicly responded to the allegations made by her. The matter has now escalated into a formal exchange of claims and explanations between both families.

Dr. Nabiha, who gained popularity on social media for her bold opinions and open expression, married her close friend Haris Khokhar a few months ago. Their wedding received positive attention online. However, reports of marital disagreements began surfacing shortly after the marriage, eventually leading to public controversy.

Appearing on a private television program, Dr. Nabiha’s father-in-law rejected all allegations made against him and his family, calling them baseless. He stated that if there had been any truth to the claims, he would have considered them misunderstandings or temporary disagreements. Instead, he suggested that the situation might be linked to personal motives, such as seeking publicity or attempting to create distance between his son and the family.

He clarified that he has never financially depended on his son or daughter-in-law and that he personally covers major household expenses. According to him, his son’s financial contribution to the household is minimal, yet he does not object, as he considers it his responsibility.

Explaining the sequence of events, he said that on one Friday, when he asked his son to join him for prayers, Haris expressed concerns about renewed arguments and suspicions from Dr. Nabiha. He claimed that tensions escalated, but he intervened and took his son to the mosque. Later that day, he noticed Dr. Nabiha packing her belongings into a car. He and his wife tried to stop her but eventually suggested she stay at her parents’ home for a few days to allow matters to cool down.

He also dismissed claims that Dr. Nabiha was overburdened with household chores, stating that three domestic helpers manage the housework and that she had minimal involvement in daily tasks. Furthermore, he described his family as educated and respectful, denying any inappropriate behavior toward her.

According to him, the ongoing conflict has negatively affected his son’s routine and professional focus. He also alleged that Dr. Nabiha often displayed excessive suspicion toward her husband, which contributed to marital tension.
