Pakistani singer and actor Ali Zafar has released a new naat titled “Sohna Nabi”, paying tribute to Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. The artist announced the release on social media and described the naat as a humble expression of love and devotion for the Holy Prophet ﷺ.

While sharing the project, Ali Zafar said the naat comes at a time when the world appears to be facing increasing noise, division, and hardship. According to him, people across the world are still searching for light, compassion, and mercy, values that were beautifully reflected in the life and teachings of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
Ali Zafar wrote that “Sohna Nabi” is a heartfelt tribute presented with deep respect and affection for the beloved Prophet ﷺ. He explained that the message and life of the Holy Prophet ﷺ brought guidance and light to humanity, and those teachings continue to inspire people to live with dignity, kindness, and mutual respect.
The singer described the naat as a small but sincere expression of devotion, dedicated to honoring the most beloved personality in human history.
The audio production of the naat was handled by Ali Zafar himself, while the lyrics, melody, and music composition were created by Hassan Badshah. Several musicians also contributed to the recording. Aamir Ali performed the tabla, Taimoor Ali Haider played the dholak, while Haider Ali and Ustad Tanveer Hussain participated by performing other musical instruments.
Ali Zafar also took creative control of the video, as he produced, directed, and edited the video himself. The release has received attention from fans and listeners who appreciate spiritual and devotional music.
