Saif Ali Khan Reveals Son Jeh Was Also Injured During 2025 Knife Attack at Mumbai Home

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan has shared new details about the knife attack that took place at his Mumbai residence in January 2025, revealing for the first time that his younger son, Jehangir Ali Khan (Jeh), was also injured during the terrifying incident.

Speaking about the attack, Saif said the intruder entered his home through a bathroom window, allegedly with the intention of committing theft. The actor recalled that he and his family were asleep when they were alerted that an unknown man carrying a knife had entered Jeh’s room and was demanding money.

Saif immediately rushed to protect his son and came face-to-face with the attacker. During the struggle, he suffered six knife wounds, including one serious injury close to his spine that required emergency surgery. He also revealed that his young son sustained minor injuries during the incident, while a household staff member was also slightly hurt.

The actor said the traumatic events unfolded within moments, leaving him with little time to think before reacting instinctively to protect his family. Looking back, he believes his actions were driven solely by a father’s natural desire to keep his loved ones safe.

Reflecting on the incident, Saif admitted that the memories of that night continue to haunt him. Although life has gradually returned to normal, he said the experience has changed the way he views safety and family, making their protection his highest priority.

Saif also spoke about forgiveness, saying he would like to forgive the attacker because he believes the man may not have originally intended to kill anyone. However, he acknowledged that forgiving someone who endangered his family and inflicted life-threatening injuries is extremely difficult.

The actor further suggested that such incidents can also reflect broader social issues, including the gap between the wealthy and the underprivileged, which may contribute to desperate criminal acts.

More than a year after the attack, Saif Ali Khan says the physical wounds have healed, but the emotional impact remains.
