Shaan Shahid Reveals Exciting Details About His New Film ‘Psycho’

Pakistani superstar Shaan Shahid shared in a recent interview that his upcoming film Psycho will feature actress Meera in a role that will surprise everyone. Speaking exclusively to Jang Digital, Shaan expressed his excitement over the success of his recent film Bulha, which is quickly gaining popularity after its Eid-ul-Fitr release.

Shaan reflected on his long career, noting that he has worked in over 500 films and emphasizing the importance of collaboration within the Pakistani film industry. He praised co-stars like Naima Butt and Mona Lisa for their excellent performances and expressed his affection for audiences in Karachi. On comparing television and film, Shaan explained that television work is like a test cricket match, requiring steady performance, while film is more like a T20 match, demanding energy and adaptability. He emphasized that TV actors are talented but sometimes carry over their television style when transitioning to film.

Shaan also shared glimpses of his personal life, mentioning his four daughters, three of whom were born at the same time, and how they are growing up in a home filled with literature, poetry, and art. While he remains proud of the family’s creative environment, he stated that it’s too early to predict the future paths of his children.

Finally, Shaan stressed the need for collaboration between filmmakers in Karachi and Lahore to revive the Pakistani film industry, naming Fahad Mustafa and Humayun Saeed as key industry colleagues he hopes to work with.
