He said he was kept in a small car for several hours, with guns pointed at his head and back, while being threatened with death. “They said they would beat me and throw me away, but thankfully, I was released alive,” he recalled.

He also revealed that his father had been kidnapped by the same group before him. At that time, Hashmi admitted he was filled with anger and even thought about revenge, but later chose forgiveness. “If I try to take revenge, I will lower myself to their level. I have moved on,” he said.
