Sanam Saeed Reveals She Was Seven Months Pregnant During “Main Manto Nahi Hoon” Shoot

Actress Sanam Saeed has shared a surprising detail about her latest drama “Main Manto Nahi Hoon”, revealing that she was seven months pregnant during the shoot and had to carefully hide her baby bump on screen.

In a recent interview on Something Haute, Sanam opened up about her return to television after seven years, her experience working with Humayun Saeed and Sajal Aly, and balancing her personal life with work.

Sanam had earlier announced in June 2025 that she welcomed a baby boy, Vali Hassan Mirza, on May 18, 2025. She shared the news publicly a month later, bringing immense joy to her fans.

Talking about the shooting schedule, Sanam said she had already conceived before filming began and even expressed her concern to director Nadeem Baig about how she would look on screen while pregnant. Despite this, she carried out her role with dedication.

She revealed that during the initial scenes of the drama, she was in her seventh month of pregnancy, and the production team made special arrangements to conceal her baby bump. Playing the role of a lecturer, Sanam wore sarees and managed to perform comfortably while expecting.

The actress further shared that while shooting in Lahore, she was nearly in her eighth month of pregnancy, yet she continued filming for three weeks.

Sanam Saeed and fellow actor Mohib Mirza confirmed their marriage in 2023, after years of speculation. Both were previously married—Mohib to model Aamina Sheikh (with whom he shares a daughter) and Sanam to a Dubai-based man, whom she divorced in 2018.

Through “Main Manto Nahi Hoon,” currently airing on ARY Digital, Sanam marks a powerful comeback to TV after years, with fans excited to see her on screen again alongside two of Pakistan’s biggest stars.
