Nisho Begum Reveals She Was Not Happy with Daughter Sahiba’s Marriage to Rambo

Veteran Pakistani actress Nisho Begum has recently revealed that she was not happy when her daughter Sahiba decided to marry actor and comedian Rambo, also known as Afzal Khan. Speaking in a candid podcast interview, she shared emotional details about her daughter’s entry into showbiz and her eventual marriage, admitting that she strongly opposed Sahiba’s decision at the time.

According to Nisho Begum, Sahiba was determined from the very beginning to join the film industry. She recalled that her daughter even threatened to harm herself if she was not allowed to act in movies. Faced with such extreme pressure, Nisho and her second husband reluctantly gave their permission. Her stepfather suggested that security guards should accompany Sahiba whenever she went for shooting, so that she could be protected from any potential risks while working in films.

However, Sahiba’s life soon took another turn when she met Rambo. Nisho Begum explained that her daughter became very attached to him and expressed her wish to marry him. Nisho opposed the idea because Sahiba had initially forced her way into films through emotional blackmail and was now ready to give up her career for Rambo. She advised Sahiba to at least complete the projects she had already signed, otherwise she would have to pay financial penalties and her reputation in the industry would also be damaged. After a great deal of convincing, Sahiba agreed to finish her pending film shoots.

Nisho Begum admitted that she was against the marriage mainly because she had raised her daughter with great love and care, and she wanted her to marry into a more prominent family. Like any parent, she wished that Sahiba would continue to enjoy the same comfortable environment after marriage as she had before it. But Sahiba stood firm in her decision and told her mother that she would rather go hungry but would only marry Rambo. Eventually, Nisho had no choice but to give in to her daughter’s demand and arranged the marriage with full celebrations.

With time, Nisho Begum’s fears began to ease. Both Sahiba and Rambo worked hard and became successful in their respective careers. Sahiba gained financial independence, while Rambo also rose to fame in the entertainment industry. The couple built a good life together and are now parents to two grown sons. Looking back, Nisho admitted that although she was not happy at the start, her daughter’s determination and later success eventually brought stability and respect to the family.
