Mishi Khan Criticizes Actress Dr. Nabiha for Revealing Marital Issues on TV

Pakistani actress and television host Mishi Khan has strongly reacted to recent revelations made by actress Dr. Nabiha regarding alleged mental torture by her husband and in-laws. Calling the public disclosure “madness,” Mishi Khan also criticized the television host who aired the discussion, suggesting that such personal matters should be resolved privately within the home rather than being discussed on national television.

Dr. Nabiha had recently appeared on a program hosted by Fiza Ali, where she revealed that her marriage was not going well. She shared that she was facing mental stress and difficulties with her in-laws. Her husband, Haris Khokhar, later rejected the allegations, stating that she was narrow-minded and overly suspicious.

Responding to the situation, Mishi Khan took to Instagram and posted a video message expressing her disapproval. She described Dr. Nabiha’s on-air revelations as inappropriate and unnecessary, especially during the holy month of Ramadan. Mishi questioned the growing trend of discussing personal and domestic disputes on television in a dramatic manner.

In her message, she said that Ramadan is a sacred month, and it is disturbing to switch on the television only to see shows highlighting personal family conflicts. She urged Dr. Nabiha to handle her domestic issues privately instead of presenting them in a public forum. According to Mishi, bringing such sensitive matters to television creates unnecessary drama and sets a poor example.

She also criticized the show’s host, saying that broadcasters should be more responsible about the content they air during Ramadan transmissions. Mishi emphasized that television channels and their owners should maintain higher standards and avoid sensationalizing personal disputes for ratings.

Mishi Khan further expressed disappointment over what she described as declining standards in Ramadan programming, calling it embarrassing that such content is being presented during a spiritually significant time.

It is worth noting that Dr. Nabiha had married her longtime friend Haris Khokhar a few months ago, and their wedding received significant media coverage. Before her marriage, some of her public statements had also gone viral.

Following Mishi Khan’s remarks, social media users actively debated the issue. Some agreed with her, stating that personal matters should remain private and that Ramadan transmissions have become overly dramatic. Others, however, expressed sympathy for Dr. Nabiha, arguing that many women face similar issues and should be allowed to speak openly.

The controversy continues to trend online, reflecting broader discussions about privacy, media responsibility, and the boundaries between personal life and public platforms.
