Senior Pakistani actor Humayun Saeed has revealed emotional details about the struggles he faced in his early life. In a recent interview with Fuchsia Magazine, he spoke about his journey, hardships, and how faith and determination carried him through difficult times.
Family Tragedy and Early Struggles
Humayun Saeed recalled that when he was just 17 or 18 years old, his family went through a sudden financial collapse after his father’s business failed. Around the same time, tragedy struck again when his younger brother—only two years younger than him—fell from a height and suffered a severe spinal injury, leaving him paralyzed.

The actor explained that the situation forced him to take on responsibilities at a very young age. He began working different jobs, from giving private tuition to working in a factory, just to support his family.
Taking His Brother for Free Medical Treatment
Saeed shared that one of the toughest parts of his life was running from one hospital to another in search of free treatment for his brother. He would even try to build friendships with hospital staff so that his brother’s treatment could continue without interruption. Despite years of effort, his brother remains unable to walk and still requires ongoing medical care.
Gratitude and Faith in Allah
Talking about his current success, Humayun Saeed said he never forgets the struggles he has been through. Every time he achieves something, he feels closer to Allah. Even today, whenever he reaches a milestone, he arranges Quran Khwani (recitation of the Holy Quran) at his home to thank Allah for His countless blessings.
He emphasized that whatever he has today is not because of his own strength but because of Allah’s mercy. “I was nothing, and Allah raised me to where I am now,” he said, stressing that humility keeps him grounded.
