Famous Pakistani actress Zara Noor Abbas has revealed that she was not allowed to start acting until after her marriage. She shared that her father was very strict and did not permit her to join showbiz before she got married.

Zara Noor Abbas recently appeared on Geo News’ comedy show Hansna Mana Hai, where she openly spoke about her strict family environment. She said that she did not have much freedom in many matters while growing up.

Talking about her father and brothers, she explained that her father did not support any job that required her to leave the house. She wanted to study law, but her father did not allow it. As a result, she chose to study Mass Communication instead.

The actress further revealed that her father also did not give her permission to join the media or showbiz industry. She said that she entered the entertainment world only after receiving permission from her husband.

Zara Noor Abbas shared that she has three brothers and is the only sister in the family. She described her eldest brother as very strict, saying he used to act like their father. He would even come to pick her up during university breaks. She was not allowed to sit with friends, go out for fun, watch movies, or go shopping freely.

She also mentioned that she often argued with her middle brother, while her relationship with her youngest brother was different. She said she used to tease him, and he still feels like a little child to her.

Her honest conversation has received attention online, as many fans appreciated her openness about family life and the challenges she faced before starting her acting career.
