Actress Ainy Jaffri Reveals Childhood Harassment Incident by Domestic Worker

Pakistani model and actress Ainy Jaffri, known for her roles in various TV serials and her active presence on social media, has opened up about a deeply personal and painful experience from her childhood.

In a recent Instagram video shared from her ongoing podcast, Ainy revealed that she was sexually harassed by a domestic worker when she was just five years old.

She explained that the incident took place at her grandparents’ house, where a cook lured her to the servant quarters by offering a lollipop. Being very young, she innocently followed him, only to be subjected to harassment. Despite her age, Ainy said she immediately felt that something was wrong.

Remarkably, instead of remaining silent, little Ainy went straight home and told her mother the truth. She shared that this incident still feels like a “horrific film” playing in her mind, even years later.

The actress stressed that she is not speaking about this to gain sympathy or followers but to raise awareness. According to her, many children suffer such abuse but remain quiet due to fear, when in fact the shame and fear should be on the abuser, not the victim.

Ainy further highlighted that in many cases, such acts are carried out by people close to the family, making it even harder to identify them. She urged parents to educate their children about boundaries—teaching them to recognize wrong behavior and to signal or seek help immediately if they ever face such a situation.

She also encouraged survivors to speak openly instead of suffering in silence and recommended therapy as a way to heal from such traumatic experiences.
