The 40-horse field for the 2023 Grand National will post at Aintree on Saturday for the greatest spectacle in jump racing.
Corach Rambler, the winner of the Cheltenham Festival, is the favorite for Scottish trainer Lucinda Russell, while Noble Yeats hopes to join the likes of Red Rum and Tiger Roll by winning consecutive Nationals.
Gordon Elliott and Willie Mullins, as always, pose a formidable challenge for the Irish, with a multitude of opportunities.
How to conduct a Grand National 2023 contest
Please note that the final 40 participants in the race were confirmed on Thursday morning. If you established your sweepstake prior to this final confirmation phase, you must make the following modification:
The participant who chose Defi Bleu (No. 40) should receive Born By the Sea (the new No. 40) instead.
If there are 40 participants or 20 participants with two horses, the entry fee could be £5 per horse, with £100 for the winner, £50 for second place, £30 for third place, and £20 for fourth place.
Alternately, £2 per entry could be divided as follows: £40 for first place, £25 for second place, £10 for third place, and £5 for fourth place.
How Technology and Innovation are Changing Our World
The Grand National will begin at 5.15 pm on Saturday, April 15, and you can follow all the action right here on Telegraph Sport, with complete live coverage and results as they become available.
In contrast to previous years, if a horse withdraws between Thursday morning and Saturday’s race start, it will not be replaced.
