Unveiling of the PSL 8 Trophy — On Thursday, the Pakistan Cricket Board unveiled the PSL 8 trophy in Lahore, the nation’s cultural capital, and its renowned Shalimar Gardens.

Photos from the ceremony depict the chairman of the PCB, franchise owners Najam Sethi, and a number of players, such as Shoaib Malik and Shan Masood.

According to a press statement from the board, the new PSL 8 trophy was designed with the national team’s philosophy, creative talent, status, and recognition in mind.

The 24-karat Supernova Trophy, which was crafted in Pakistan, was lauded as a masterpiece of skilled craftsmanship and PCB’s commitment to assisting small businesses. The national cricket team’s motto, “Unity, Passion, and Strength,” appears on the three pillars of the trophy.

According to PCB, crystals have been affixed to the main pillar at the rear to represent the team’s zeal and dedication to achieving victory.

The highly anticipated eighth season of Pakistan’s Pakistan Super League (PSL) will begin the following week. The PSL 8 schedule has been revealed.

In the next days, renowned musicians Asim Azhar, Shae Gill, Faris Shafi, and Abdullah Siddique will release the much-anticipated song for PSL 8.

On February 13, Lahore Qalandars and Multan Sultans will compete in the inaugural match at Multan Cricket Stadium, with the defending champions Lahore Qalandars as the favorites.

Several matches would be played in Multan, Karachi, Rawalpindi, and Lahore over the course of more than a month. The tournament’s title match is scheduled for March 19 in Lahore.
