The pre-wedding celebrations for Bollywood pair Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal continue till later in the week when they will exchange vows.
The pre-wedding festivities for the ‘Fukrey’ couple began earlier this week with Mehendi and Sangeet ceremonies in the capital. Now, the bride and groom-to-be have gone to Fazal’s birthplace of Lucknow for the final family gathering before the wedding.
The groom’s family organized a small, Awadhi-style ceremony to welcome their new daughter-in-law into the family. Both actors released several official photographs from the event. In the photographs released to their social media accounts, the couple appears to be dressed in identical ethnic ensembles by the designer duo Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla.
While the ‘Masaan’ actor flaunted her bridal radiance in a traditional ivory gharara by couturiers, she complimented the elaborately created chikankari and mirror work ensemble with traditional Lucknowi Polki jewelry and earthy makeup.
In contrast, the ‘Mirzapur’ actor wore a chikankari sherwani in similar hues that made him look regal.
Previously, the couple kept anxious fans informed with photographs of the Mehendi, Sangeet, and cocktail reception held at the renowned metropolitan Gymkhana club.

According to the most recent rumors from Indian media sites, Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal will now go to Mumbai, where they will marry on October 6. The celebrations will conclude the next day with a reception for relatives and friends in the industry.
It is important to note that the Bollywood stars met in 2012 on the set of ‘Fukrey’ and have been in a relationship since then. The wedding was initially scheduled for 2020 but was postponed owing to the epidemic.
