Respect Your Suede Shoes! Consider this advice

Suede Shoes

Does your wardrobe qualify as complete if it lacks suede? It is one of the easiest ways to give a plain outfit an edge. This high-quality leather made from the underside of an animal’s hide has a silky, smooth exterior that requires special care.

As fashionable as suede products are, they might be challenging to care for.

Therefore, if you want your items to last and look beautiful for a long time, you must do it properly. Please adhere to the specific standards that we have crafted for you.

Basic Suede Care Tips

– Avoid Wearing Suede When It’s Raining: Avoid wearing suede when it’s raining. Even if it is not raining, you are sure to encounter water in some form.

– Waterproofing: You can purchase an appropriate water repellent spray and apply it to your suede as preventative maintenance. Be sure to test the effectiveness of the fountain on a small area before applying it to the entire piece.

– Brush It Up: Using a suitable brush, gently brush the suede piece to remove dirt and light stains. Make sure to handle fabric with care and avoid rubbing it in. You can use either a natural bristle brush or brass and natural/synthetic bristle brush.

  • Try to brush your jewellery after each use to extend its lifespan.

How To Eliminate Stains

To remove a dirt stain, rub a pencil eraser over the colour in a circular motion. Pour white vinegar on a clean, dry cloth and apply to the obstinate stain if necessary. Make sure to dampen rather than saturate the suede. Once the paint has been removed, brush it gently with the suede-appropriate brush.

Liquid Stains: If you spill liquid on suede, blot it immediately with a soft towel or blotting paper to remove as much as possible. Use a suede brush or an eraser to eliminate the stain further.

Oil/Sweat Stains: Sprinkle baby powder or cornstarch over the stain and allow it to sit overnight to absorb the oil/sweat. Then, using the brush gently, remove the powder. Do not rub.

Note: If nothing seems to work, refrain from using additional treatments and submit the item to a professional cleaner.
